What data we collect.

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand aggregate site usage — pages visited, approximate location, device type. IP addresses are processed by Google; we do not personally identify visitors through analytics.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address (and optionally your name) through our email provider [Beehiiv/ConvertKit]. It’s used only to send the newsletter and is never sold. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Comments. If you comment, we collect the name, email, and content you submit, plus your IP address for spam detection.
  • Contact form. Messages you send via the contact form are used to reply to you and are not added to any marketing list.

Cookies. This site uses cookies for basic functionality, analytics, and — where applicable — affiliate-link attribution. You can block cookies in your browser settings; core content works without them.

Affiliate links. Some outbound links are affiliate links. Clicking them may set a cookie from the partner so a signup can be attributed. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Third-party services. Data may be processed by: Google (analytics, fonts if applicable), [Beehiiv/ConvertKit] (newsletter), Cloudflare (CDN/security), and our hosting provider (Bluehost). Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Data retention. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-ups can be recognized. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ retention settings.

Your rights. You may request an export or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by contacting [email]. EU/UK visitors have rights under GDPR, including access, rectification, and erasure; California residents have rights under CCPA.

Embedded content. Articles may embed content (e.g., YouTube videos, TradingView charts). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the source website, which may collect data about you.

Changes. This policy may be updated as the site evolves (e.g., when advertising is introduced). The date below reflects the latest revision.
